Social media has been flooded with two major rumours over the last couple of days. One claims that Nayanthara has been roped in for Ram Charan and Sukumar’s next film, while another suggests that SS Rajamouli has already decided to direct Suriya after completing Varanasi. As of now, there is no official confirmation for either developments and both remain pure speculation.
The first rumour revolves around Ram Charan’s film with Sukumar. Reports claimed that Nayanthara would play a powerful role in the film. However, Sukumar is still working on the script and Ram Charan is yet to hear the final narration. The casting process starts after Sukumar finalizes the script. There is no truth in the news and it is pure speculation.
The second speculation is even bigger. Several social media posts claimed that Rajamouli has already locked Suriya for his next directorial venture after Varanasi. Rajamouli himself has repeatedly maintained that he focuses on only one film at a time and does not plan his next project until the current one is completed. At present, his entire attention remains on Varanasi, which is scheduled to wrap up later this year. Interestingly, Suriya already has a packed lineup. He is set to reunite with director T.J. Gnanavel for a new film backed by Hombale Films, apart from his other ongoing commitments. He is done with Viswanath and Sons and he is completing Jithu Madhavan’s film.
Both stories have generated plenty of discussion among fans on social media, but there is no official confirmation behind either claim. They are just rumors that started from nowhere.
