The makers of Panchali Panchabhatruka, starring veteran actor Dr. Rajendra Prasad, held a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on August 14. Directed by Ganga Sapthasikhara, the family entertainer features Sari Far, Roll Rida, Raj Pavan, Gemini Suresh, Venkat Duggireddy, and several other actors in key roles. The film is produced under the Royal Throne Productions and Om Sairam Arts banners by Venkat Duggireddy (USA), Raj Pawan, Srikanth Settivari, and Sainadh Manyam.
Speaking at the event, music director Mahesh Narayan said director Ganga Sapthasikhara gave him complete creative freedom while composing the soundtrack. He revealed that the songs were completed in a short time and shared that Rajendra Prasad appreciated an experimental qawwali composed for the film, encouraging the team to include it. He expressed confidence that the film would connect with family audiences.
Director Ganga Sapthasikhara described Panchali Panchabhatruka as a complete entertainer filled with comedy and emotions. He made a bold promise to audiences, saying that anyone who does not enjoy the film can post their ticket on the Royal Throne Productions Instagram page and receive a refund. He also said the film would release worldwide, including across several locations in the United States, and praised the producers for their dedication to the project.
The director also highlighted Rajendra Prasad’s contribution, revealing that the veteran actor appreciated the way his character had been presented. According to him, Rajendra Prasad performed songs and action sequences in the film, adding to its entertainment value. Ganga Sapthasikhara said the movie features more than 50 artists and aims to recreate the ensemble comedy style seen in the films of EVV Satyanarayana, Jandhyala, and Anil Ravipudi.
Actor Srinivas praised the director’s comic timing and said every character in the film has been written to entertain audiences. Veteran comedian 30 Years Prithvi recalled his long association with Rajendra Prasad and thanked him for the support that shaped his career. He also wished director Ganga Sapthasikhara success and hoped the film would become a major hit.
Actress Kumari Aunty shared that she never imagined entering the film industry after becoming popular through YouTube. She thanked the director for giving her an opportunity and hoped audiences would continue to support her journey.
Actor Bala said director Ganga Sapthasikhara transformed what initially appeared to be a serious villain role into an entertaining character. He also appreciated Rajendra Prasad for encouraging the cast throughout the shoot and described the atmosphere on the sets as warm and family-like.
Actress Sunitha, actor Yogi, actor Ramki, and co-director Reshma also spoke at the event, expressing confidence that Panchali Panchabhatruka would entertain audiences with its blend of comedy, family emotions, and a large ensemble cast.
With its theatrical release scheduled for August 14, the makers believe Panchali Panchabhatruka will offer audiences a wholesome family entertainer packed with humor, emotions, and memorable performances.
