After a huge decline in the Hindi market and the OTT deals, several producers are keen to work on a profit-sharing model. Top production house Mythri Movie Makers is working with some of the top stars like Prabhas, NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. They are also producing films with notable actors of Telugu cinema. After they loved the script of Andhra King Taluka, they approached Ram with the proposal of a profit-sharing model.
Ram was excited and joined the proposal. But Andhra King Taluka failed to end up as a hit film. Ram was drawing Rs 25 crores remuneration before the film and he also delivered a series of flops. With Andhra King Taluka ending up as a dud, Ram could not pocket a decent remuneration. But Ravi Teja achieved it with Irumudi. The actor took minimum remuneration for his expenses and he bagged the Nizam rights of the film. Irumudi is bringing more money for Ravi Teja than his usual remuneration. Profit-sharing model reduces the financial stress on the producers but when it comes to the actors, it is all about success that brings their remuneration.
