Chakkora – Lunar Love Bird, starring Sravan and Malaika T. Vasupal, has officially kick-started its promotions with the launch of its teaser. Produced by Dr. Chintada Hemarao under the High Joy Commercials banner in association with VIP Vintage Iconic Pictures, the film is all set for a grand theatrical release on October 8.
The teaser was unveiled by Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu, who appreciated the film after watching the preview and extended his best wishes to debut director Manga Srinivas, producer Dr. Chintada Hemarao, and the entire team.
Making his directorial debut, Manga Srinivas previously worked as the First Assistant Director under renowned filmmaker Puri Jagannadh. With Chakkora – Lunar Love Bird, he aims to present a refreshing romantic entertainer set against the scenic backdrop of Visakhapatnam.
The teaser opens with an intriguing narration that hints at an unconventional love story told from multiple perspectives, immediately setting a curious tone. Drawing inspiration from the mythical Chakkora bird, believed to endlessly long for the moon, the film symbolically reflects the emotional journey of its protagonist in search of his beloved Julie.
Filled with romance, comedy, action, family emotions, and heroism, the teaser offers glimpses of an entertaining commercial package while maintaining the mystery surrounding the central love story. The emotional premise and visually appealing presentation have generated positive buzz ahead of the film’s release.
Apart from Sravan and Malaika T. Vasupal, the film features Anushka Luhar, Yamini, L.B. Sriram, Suman, Brahmaji, Indraja, Mani Chandana, Nellore Sudarshan, Prabhavathi, Madhavi Prasad, Janardhan, Akella Gopal Krishna, Vangapandu, Vamsi, Sumanth, Bhanu, Surya Makireddy, and others in prominent roles.
