After the success of Raju Weds Rambai, filmmaker Venu Udugula is presenting another unique entertainer titled Chandrayan. Produced by Praveen Molaka under the Simba Screen Stories banner and directed by Srinath Chandrasekhar, the film promises a hilarious adventure with a refreshing rural backdrop. A grand theatrical release is planned soon.
The makers released the film’s motion poster, offering a glimpse into its quirky and imaginative premise. The poster introduces three youngsters from the village of Mandamarri who dream of reaching the moon. With no access to advanced technology, they build a makeshift rocket using everyday items such as bike tyres, a pressure cooker, dumbbells, and other locally available materials before setting off on their unbelievable mission.
The motion poster leaves viewers with several intriguing questions. What inspires these three friends to attempt such an impossible journey? Can ordinary villagers really take on a mission that even scientists spend years preparing for? The unusual concept instantly sparks curiosity and sets the stage for an entertaining adventure.
Adding to the charm is the energetic track Rama Rama Rama Uyyaalo, composed by Harsha Praveen with lyrics by director Srinath Chandrasekhar. The song, sung by Kanakavva, Srinija Bhaduri, and Lasya, complements the film’s rustic and fun-filled atmosphere.
With rooted stories continuing to resonate strongly with audiences, Chandrayan aims to deliver another refreshing entertainer packed with humor, emotion, and an unconventional storyline.
The film stars Shiva Kumar Dheekonda, Swapna Priyadarshini, Ravi Sivateja, Vamsidhar, Lokesh, Balagam Satyanarayana, and others. The technical team includes cinematographer Srinivasa B., music director Harsha Praveen, editor Pullarao Dasari, costume designer Shashi Kosuri, and production designers Sridhar Mestri and Mandar Pasnekar. Srinath Chandrasekhar has penned the story, screenplay, dialogues, and also directed the film.
