Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action entertainer King has locked another major business deal much before its theatrical release. The music rights of the Siddharth Anand directorial have reportedly been acquired for a record price, making it one of the biggest music deals for a Hindi film in recent years. The makers are said to have pocketed Rs 50 crores for the music deal which is the highest for a Bollywood film in the recent years. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar, while Anirudh Ravichander is handling the background score. After the blockbuster success of Pathaan, SRK and Siddharth Anand are teaming up again.
The film also features Suhana Khan in a key role alongside her father, while Abhishek Bachchan plays the primary antagonist. Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi and Rani Mukerji are also part of the cast. Scheduled for a Christmas 2026 release, King is one of the most awaited Hindi films of the year. With strong pre-release business, a star-studded cast and Siddharth Anand’s action-packed presentation, the film has already created solid buzz in the trade circles.
