Ranveer Singh has opened up about the difficult phase he went through before Dhurandhar. The actor said his career has had its ups and downs and admitted that making the film was not easy. He also thanked the Ambani family for backing the project when some of his films were not working. Ranveer said he and director Aditya Dhar took up Dhurandhar when both were going through a challenging phase. He recalled that executing the film was a difficult task, but the team stayed committed to the idea. He described the support from Jio Studios and the Ambani family as a blessing, saying they backed the film with conviction when it mattered.
The actor also said he has accepted the nature of a film career. “Career hai, upar-neeche chalta hai,” Ranveer said, pointing out that every actor goes through good and bad phases. For him, Dhurandhar became an important project after a period when his films were not delivering as expected. Ranveer’s comments also give an insight into the risk involved in making Dhurandhar. The film was mounted on a large scale and required considerable time and effort from the team. The backing from Jio Studios allowed Aditya Dhar to execute his vision, while Ranveer committed himself fully to the demanding role.
