The film has different layers and the glimpse revealed that the film will have a mythological touch. The film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad has revealed that Varanasi is all about Lord Rama Vs Kumbhakarna and the epic war is the major highlight of the film.
In one of the recent interactions, Vijayendra Prasad revealed this news. He said that he is not ready to tell more about the film when asked about the film happening in different time zones. Mahesh Babu plays Lord Rama, Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen in the role of Kumbhakarna in Varanasi. The shoot of the film will be wrapped up by August and the makers announced that Varanasi releases on April 7th in theatres.
