Today, at the Narsingi Circle office, residents under the banner of the Narsingi Circle Residents Joint Action Committee (JAC) met the concerned officials and submitted a representation. On this occasion, they met Krishnamohan Reddy, Deputy Commissioner, Cyberabad Municipal, Narsingi Circle, and explained the issue.
The representatives stated that the weekly markets being conducted at main junctions and on busy roads are causing heavy traffic congestion. This is creating daily inconvenience for the general public, employees, and students.
They requested that weekly markets should not be allowed on main roads or traffic-prone areas. Instead, they suggested that such markets be shifted to open spaces where there is no vehicle movement. They also recommended that only a limited number of stalls be permitted in each area for better management.
The JAC urged the authorities to take necessary steps keeping in mind public convenience and traffic control, and to provide a permanent solution to the issue.
The JAC representatives also stated that they will continue to take the lead in addressing local public issues and work towards their resolution.
The representatives who participated in this program include:
