Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, the grandson of Superstar Krishna, is making his grand debut with Srinivasa Mangapuram, directed by Ajay Bhupathi. Releasing worldwide on July 30, the film is produced by P. Kiran and presented by Ashwini Dutt. Co-starring Rasha Thadani and Dr. Mohan Babu, this raw and rustic emotional drama has already generated tremendous buzz with its promotional content. Jaya Krishna interacted with media about the film.
He excitedly shared that Superstar Mahesh Babu is his guiding force. “Mahesh uncle guides me in every aspect. He watched the film and felt very happy,” he proudly shared. “He liked it a lot and even sent me a message saying he loved the action sequences and songs. He mentioned that I looked very different on screen and completely immersed myself in the character.”
Jaya Krishna feels incredibly fortunate to be launched by such a prestigious production house. “I have a great bond with Ashwini Dutt garu. Uncle’s first film was also with Vyjayanthi Movies, and I hope this film receives the same acceptance,” he noted. To prepare for the role, he underwent a rigorous three-month workshop with the director, perfecting his screen presence and dialogue delivery.
The young actor describes the film as a refreshing departure from routine cinema. “It is very realistic. The characters and emotions feel very raw and rustic. It is not a template love story. It has strong emotions and very new twists,” he explained. With chartbuster music by GV Prakash and intense action sequences, the young actor is confident that audiences will deeply connect with the movie.
