Mega Power Star Ram Charan is gearing up to set the box office on fire with his highly anticipated rustic sports drama Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has already generated huge excitement with its powerful glimpses and intense rural backdrop. Now, the makers have kickstarted aggressive pan-India promotions ahead of the theatrical trailer launch.
Adding to the growing buzz, the team unveiled a powerful introduction video of Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar as “Gournaidu,” a key character in the film. The video showcases Shiv Rajkumar in a fierce wrestling arena setup, carrying a commanding and rugged screen presence that instantly grabbed attention on social media. His intense look and strong body language hint at a major role with significant impact on the story.
Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi is being mounted as a grand cinematic spectacle with rich visuals and large-scale production values. The makers are set to launch the much-awaited theatrical trailer at a grand event in Mumbai on May 18, further increasing anticipation around the project.
The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu Sharma play pivotal roles. With a strong ensemble cast and a rustic sports drama backdrop, the film is being positioned as one of the biggest releases of 2026.
