Top producer Dil Raju was extremely confident on Toxic featuring Yash in the lead role. He bagged the distribution rights of the Telugu states for a fancy price. Before the release, Dil Raju also announced that Yash is committed to do a film for him but he is not sure when the project will be materialized. Toxic released yesterday and the response has been disastrous. The initial theatrical deal was Rs 120 crores for the Telugu states and it was revised later. Dil Raju is said to have paid close to Rs 80 crores finally.
Social media speculates that Dil Raju will lose big money for the project and the makers will offer the distribution rights of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka as the film is produced by Toxic makes KVN Productions. This news is completely untrue. Dil Raju bought the rights of Toxic on a refundable basis and the amount has to be refunded in 45 days. But here comes the twist. Dil Raju had an agreement with Yash who is also a partner in Toxic. He has not signed any agreement with KVN Productions and Dil Raju has nothing to do with the distribution rights of Megastar’s Kaaka.
Yash inked a deal with Dil Raju for Toxic on a refundable basis. Yash has to refund the money to Dil Raju. Considering the word of mouth and the disastrous response, Yash has to refund big money back to the distributors. Dil Raju has a task to get back the money for Toxic in the promised time. If Yash promises a film for Dil Raju and fails to repay the Toxic dues, the top producer has to wait for the actor to allocate the dates and this will take years. If the deal was with KVN, Dil Raju would have waited till Sankranthi or he would have got the refund from the makers.
We have to wait for some more time to know what is in the mind of Yash: If he will repay back the entire dues of Toxic and close the account or if he will ask Dil Raju to wait for more time and offer him a project. The Big Task is ahead for the top Tollywood producer.
