Director and producer Sai Rajesh has been elected as the Vice President of the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation, a major organization representing 24 workers’ unions across the Telugu film industry. The appointment marks another significant milestone in his journey as an industry leader and advocate for film workers’ welfare.
Sai Rajesh was unanimously elected to the post by the leadership of all affiliated unions, reflecting the confidence and support he enjoys across various sectors of the industry. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Telugu Film Directors Association (TFDA) and has been actively involved in industry affairs for several years.
Before taking on this new responsibility, Sai Rajesh served as Vice President of the Telugu Film Directors Association. He secured convincing victories in the last two TFDA elections and earned recognition for introducing several reforms aimed at improving the functioning of the association. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in launching welfare initiatives, including insurance coverage and mid-day meal programs for association members.
Industry insiders view his election to the Employees Federation as a recognition of his continued efforts toward the welfare and development of film industry workers. His experience in administration and his focus on employee welfare are expected to contribute positively to the federation’s future initiatives.
Apart from his organizational contributions, Sai Rajesh is widely known for delivering the cult blockbuster Baby, which emerged as one of the most successful films in recent years. He is currently associated with Chennai Love Story, starring Kiran Abbavaram, where he is serving as the story writer and producer.
