After a record-breaking run at the box office, Ram Charan’s Peddi has officially made its OTT debut. The much-awaited sports action drama is now streaming exclusively on Netflix from July 9, 2026, giving fans another chance to watch one of the biggest Telugu blockbusters of the year.
Netflix confirmed the digital premiere through its official announcement, revealing that the film is currently available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The streaming giant also announced that the Hindi version will arrive later, with its digital release expected in August 2026 after completing its theatrical release window.
Announcing the release, Netflix shared the message: “Aata marocchu kaani, monagadu mathram maradu. Watch Peddi, out 9 July, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Coming soon in Hindi, on Netflix.”
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a semi-period sports action drama set in the 1980s. The story follows a talented athlete who fights for the pride, dignity, and recognition of his neglected tribal village through the power of sports. The film blends emotion, action, and inspirational storytelling against a rustic backdrop.
The film stars Ram Charan in the lead role alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The soundtrack and background score are composed by Academy Award-winning music director A.R. Rahman, adding to the film’s grand cinematic appeal.
