Vishwanath And Sons stars Suriya, Mamitha Baiju, Raveena Tandon, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Nasser, Kaali Venkat and others. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Nimish Ravi and editing by Navin Nooli. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the emotional family entertainer is scheduled to release in theatres on August 14.
Yesterday makers arranged a grand audio launch event in Coimbatore. At the event, Producer Naga Vamsi exuded confidence about the commercial prospects of the film. During his speech, Naga Vamsi thanked Suriya for placing his trust in him and director Venky Atluri despite both being relatively young filmmakers from the Telugu industry.
He said Coimbatore holds a special place in the film’s journey as both its shoot and promotions began there, expressing hope that the city would continue to bring good fortune to the project. He also reiterated his earlier promise that the film would present fans with a memorable version of Suriya reminiscent of the impact created by the actor’s iconic Sanjay Ramaswamy character.
Expressing unwavering confidence in the film, the producer said the team believes Vishwanath And Sons has the potential to become for Tamil audiences what Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was for Telugu cinema. Clarifying that the comparison stemmed purely from confidence rather than arrogance, he revealed that he had already watched the final cut and was convinced that the film’s emotional storytelling would resonate with audiences.
Naga Vamsi also praised composer GV Prakash Kumar, expressing hope that the film would mark their third consecutive successful collaboration. In a light-hearted moment, he jokingly warned the music director that Suriya’s fans would hold him responsible if the background score failed to elevate the film into a blockbuster.
