King Nagarjuna attended the pre-release event of Annapurna Studios and Epic Studios production, Pallaburusu. The movie is a simple rural comedy that talks about a fractured father-son bond. Uday Chauhan is directing the film and he expressed his gratitude to the legendary production house at the event.
He stated that he was moved by how parents are being neglected by children and hence, came up with this idea to explore a father-son bond about smallest of the problem. He remarked that in real life too not always the big things but smallest of the small can showcase how fractured and fragile bonds are.
Uday further said that they have worked hard to make it in a new style and requested audiences to watch the film in theatres. Nagarjuna got emotional remembering his parents – ANR and Annapurnamma. He stated that he is lucky to have been able to take care of them and asked younger generation to learn giving importance to familal bonds.
He revealed that Annapurnamma’s birthday falls on 14th August and hence, Pallaburusu releasing on that day becomes special. He further revealed that he watched the film and its genuinety touched his heart. He thanked Telangana DCM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for giving him an idea to produce a film on Telangana culture and Pallaburusu, will reflect the simplicity and genuine emotions of rural Telangana. Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud are playing leading roles in the movie.
