A bunch of new films tested their luck in the Telugu states over the weekend. Here is the performance of the films:
Irumudi: After a fantastic second week, Irumudi had a super strong third weekend in the Telugu states. The film reported the highest footfalls and dominated the new releases. The dream run for Irumudi continues in the Telugu states.
Romanchakam: Sandeep Reddy Vanga backed a small film titled Romanchakam, a romantic entertainer. The film registered decent footfalls despite the film receiving poor response from the audience. The film will end up as a disappointment in the final run.
Rambha Oorvashi Menaka: Allari Naresh returns back to his favorite genre with Rambha Oorvashi Menaka but the film fails to live up to the expectations because of the outdated content. The film witnessed a slight growth in the numbers on Sunday. The response for the film has been below average.
Sahaa: A small film that caught everyone’s attention because of the bold statements made by the lead actors. The film fails to impress the audience and Sahaa is one more disappointment.
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit: The film continued to have a strong weekend in Malayalam. The film released in Tamil and Telugu on Friday and with minimum promotions, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit performed well in the cities and multiplexes.
Vishwanath and Sons: The Suriya starrer continued to draw audience in the limited number of screens. The family crowds are watching the film in the multiplexes. The theatrical run will come to an end this week as the film will stream on Netflix next week.
Toxic: The Yash starrer fails to generate revenue in its second weekend. The film is an utter disappointment and the theatrical run ends this week as there are a number of new releases coming next week.
In the North Indian belt, Hanuman Ansh and Mirzapur reported huge footfalls and both the films had a super strong weekend.
