Telugu ZEE5 has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming original investigative thriller Panchanama, promising a suspense-filled mystery where every unanswered death leads to a darker truth. Directed by Mohan Srivatsa, the six-episode Telugu Original will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on September 11, 2026.
The series follows Jai Ram, played by Bharath Srinivasan, a determined police officer who refuses to believe that his younger brother’s death was simply an accident. His personal quest for answers soon grows into a complex investigation after he discovers striking similarities between several unexplained deaths that had all been officially ruled accidental.
As Jai begins reopening old cases, hidden clues start emerging. Disturbing evidence, severed arms, fingerprint matches and unexpected connections point towards a criminal network that has mastered the art of disguising murder as fate. With each revelation, the line between truth and deception becomes increasingly blurred, forcing Jai to question everything he thought he knew.
While Panchanama delivers an intense investigative thriller, the emotional heart of the story lies in Jai’s struggle to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death. As the investigation deepens, buried secrets from the past resurface, turning his search for justice into a dangerous battle against powerful forces determined to keep the truth hidden.
Producer Udaya Bhanu said the series blends a gripping crime investigation with a deeply emotional personal journey. According to him, Jai’s pursuit of answers gradually uncovers a much larger world of crime and corruption, while ensuring that human emotions remain at the center of the story.

Apart from Bharath Srinivasan, Panchanama features Shivaji Raja, Medha Reddy, Charan Babu, Rupa Lakshmi, Radhika Priti, Surya and Srija in key roles. The series is produced by Midde Vijayendra Mouli and Udaya Bhanu under Udaya Bhanu Productions. Nagendra Pilla has written the screenplay and dialogues, while Naresh Kumaran has composed the music. The cinematography is handled by Sandeep Kanth.N and editing is by Srinivas Bainaboyina.
Panchanama also strengthens ZEE5’s growing Telugu Originals lineup, following the success of titles like Lenin and Veerabhadruni Rahasyam. With its mix of suspense, forensic investigation and emotional storytelling, the upcoming thriller aims to keep viewers guessing until the very end.
Panchanama will begin streaming exclusively on Telugu ZEE5 from September 11, 2026.
