Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has entered a new phase in his personal life by marrying his longtime partner Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony held at his Pali Hill residence in Mumbai. The private wedding was attended by close family members, friends and the couple’s children from their previous relationships, keeping the celebrations simple as planned. This marks Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. After their separation, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. Though the couple parted ways in 2021, they have continued to share a cordial relationship and jointly raise their son Azad. Gauri Spratt, who hails from Bengaluru, has reportedly known Aamir for several years before the two began dating. Their relationship was made public by the actor earlier this year.
Unlike the lavish celebrity weddings that Bollywood is known for, Aamir preferred a quiet ceremony away from the media glare. The actor had earlier revealed that both families wanted the occasion to remain a personal affair, seeking only the blessings of their loved ones. On the professional front, Aamir has a packed schedule. He is set to reunite with director Ashutosh Gowariker for the sports drama Lalkaara and the shoot commences in October. He is also teaming up with Rajkumar Hirani for the sequel of 3 Idiots. Two other films are under discussion and they will be produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
