Allu Aravind owned Geetha Arts is one of the top production houses of Telugu cinema. They also own GA2 Pictures on which small and medium budget films are made. After Thandel and The Girl Friend, Geetha Arts hasn’t announced any new projects. The production house is now gearing up for a busy lineup of projects for the next two years. Geetha Arts will produce a film with Allu Arjun in the lead role and it will be directed by Basil Joseph. The shoot commences next year.
The production house will co-produce Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film directed by Clax and the shoot commences after Dasara this year. MS Subbulakshmi biopic has been under discussion since years and the project has been finalized. Rashmika Mandanna will play the lead role and Gowtam Tinnanuri will be the director. Apart from these, a film with Akhil Akkineni is under discussion. GA2 Pictures has three content-driven films lined up and the shoots will start very soon. Dulquer Salmaan’s Aakasamlo Oka Tara is in the final stages of shoot and the project is produced by Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema. The next two years will be quite busy for Geetha Arts as there are a number of films lined up.
