Ameer Log, the maiden production venture of Awwal Number Productions, has unveiled its theatrical trailer, promising a lively mix of Hyderabad culture, youthful friendships, humour and emotion. The film is produced by Madhavi Reddy Soma, directed by Ramana Reddy Soma and co-produced by Manohar Reddy Manchuri. Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media is presenting the film’s theatrical release across the Telugu states.
Starring MC Hari, Manoj and Sasidhar in the lead roles, the film also features Vedha Jalandhar, Raavan Nitturu, Vishwender Reddy and Saiyogi in key parts. Following the encouraging response to the teaser, the trailer gives a closer look at the lives of a group of youngsters from a close-knit basti in Hyderabad’s Old City.
The story revolves around their everyday lives, including cricket, street hangouts, local rivalries, friendships and family pressures to find jobs and settle down. Things take an unexpected turn when an idea born during a local feast inspires them to start their own biryani business, Kiraak Biryani.
As their business grows, the youngsters enter corporate spaces, creating situations where their distinctive basti attitude and Hyderabad slang come face-to-face with conventional workplace culture. At its core, the film focuses on friendship, family, ambition and the confidence to stay connected to one’s roots.
MC Hari, Manoj and Sasidhar share a natural camaraderie in the trailer. Their banter, arguments and conversations about careers, responsibilities and life add an authentic touch to the proceedings. Director Ramana Reddy Soma appears to have blended Hyderabad’s local flavour with youthful humour and emotional moments.
The technical team includes cinematographer SVK, editor Rohit Penumatsa and music director Smaran Sai. The background score combines energetic beats, ethnic percussion and soulful melodies, complementing the film’s youthful setting.
With its strong Hyderabad backdrop, relatable characters and blend of humour and emotion, Ameer Log looks to offer a fresh story centred on friendship and ambition. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 21.
