Sukriti Veni Bandreddi, daughter of acclaimed filmmaker Sukumar, has added another remarkable achievement to her growing list of accomplishments. After winning the National Award for Best Child Actress for Gandhi Tatha Chettu (2024), she has now been selected for the prestigious Ensemble Excellence Award at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.
As part of the honour, Sukriti Veni has secured a full scholarship for Berklee College of Music’s Summer Music Program next year. The scholarship is considered highly competitive, with 272 students participating in the audition process. Out of them, only 14 students were awarded full scholarships.
What makes her achievement even more special is that Sukriti Veni is the only student in the Singers category to receive a full scholarship this year, highlighting her exceptional musical talent on an international platform.
The latest recognition comes at a proud moment for the Bandreddi family. Sukumar recently received the National Award for Best Screenplay Writer, further adding to the family’s achievements in the fields of cinema and the arts. With success in both acting and music at a young age, Sukriti Veni continues to build an impressive journey that is gaining recognition beyond India.
