Tollywood producers C. Kalyan and Burugupalli Sivarama Krishna have landed in legal trouble after the Jubilee Hills Police registered a case against them in connection with an alleged attempt to occupy a disputed property in Hyderabad. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by businessman Kanthamaneni Ravi Shankar. According to the complaint, the incident took place at Plot No. 89 of the Women’s Co-operative Housing Society in Jubilee Hills. Ravi Shankar claimed that the property is currently under a legal dispute and that the court had already issued an interim injunction on June 10, directing that his possession should not be disturbed until the matter is resolved.
Despite the court order, the complainant alleged that C. Kalyan, Burugupalli Sivarama Krishna and others entered the property illegally. They were accused of breaking the locks, damaging the entrance gate, throwing away materials kept on the premises, threatening the staff present at the site and demolishing a room that had been constructed there. Based on these allegations, the Jubilee Hills Police registered a case and have begun an investigation into the matter. The police are expected to examine the court records, property documents and statements of those involved before proceeding further.
Neither C. Kalyan nor Burugupalli Sivarama Krishna has issued a detailed public response to the allegations so far. The incident has now become a talking point in Tollywood as two well-known producers are in legal problems.
