GV Prakash Kumar is going through one of the busiest phases of his career. After completing 100 films as a music composer with Parasakthi, he has signed a series of prestigious projects across Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema. His lineup reflects the confidence that filmmakers continue to place in his music. Among his upcoming projects are Suriya 46 directed by Venky Atluri, DQ41 starring Dulquer Salmaan, Srinivasa Mangapuram directed by Ajay Bhupathi, Mandaadi, Kara and Magudam. Apart from these, GV Prakash is also composing for his first full-fledged Hindi album Nayi Naveli, produced by Aanand L. Rai and directed by Balaji Mohan.
The composer has been balancing commercial entertainers, family dramas and content-driven films without slowing down. His recent work in Parasakthi and Vishwanath & Sons has once again highlighted his versatility, while several of his upcoming films belong to different genres ranging from action to emotional dramas. Along with composing, GV Prakash continues to stay active as an actor. His film Immortal is gearing up for release after being postponed to avoid a box-office clash with Jana Nayagan. Even with his acting commitments, he has managed to maintain a packed schedule as a music director.
With multiple big-ticket projects already on his desk and more announcements expected in the coming months, GV Prakash has quietly emerged as one of the busiest music composers in Indian cinema today.
