Choreographer Jani Master has finally responded to the controversy surrounding the Telugu Film and TV Dancers Association, clarifying that the issue has now been resolved. He dismissed reports of a personal rift with fellow choreographer Sekhar Master, saying the disagreement was limited to administrative matters within the association and not their personal relationship. Speaking to the media, Jani Master said the concerns raised by members have been addressed after discussions with senior representatives. He stated that all misunderstandings have been cleared and the association is now moving forward together. According to him, the priority has always been the welfare of dancers rather than internal politics.
The controversy erupted after videos from a meeting of the Telugu Film and TV Dancers Association went viral on social media. Jani Master and Sekhar Master were seen engaged in a heated argument, leading to speculation that the two choreographers had fallen out. The issue reportedly began after objections were raised over decisions related to the association’s administration and proposed by-elections under the leadership of association president Sumalatha, who is also Jani Master’s wife.
Jani Master clarified that there is no personal difference between him and Sekhar Master. He said they have worked together for years and continue to share mutual respect. He also revealed that Megastar Chiranjeevi encouraged both of them to put an end to the unnecessary speculation and stand united. The two later appeared together with Chiranjeevi, sending out a message that the issue had been settled.
The Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation has recently issued notices and raised objections over certain developments related to the dancers’ association. Jani has maintained that his fight is only against alleged irregularities within the association and not against the federation itself.
