Work on one of Indian cinema’s most anticipated sequels, Kalki 2, is set to move into an important new phase. According to information learned by us, the film’s next shooting schedule will commence from September 1 at a studio in Shankarpally, on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
We have also learned that Amitabh Bachchan will be joining the latest schedule, where the team is expected to film key portions featuring his iconic character, Ashwatthama. The veteran actor’s role emerged as one of the biggest highlights of the first film, and his return is expected to play a crucial part in shaping the sequel’s narrative.
Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2 picks up the story after the dramatic events of Kalki 2898 AD.
