Hombale Films has quietly built one of the strongest lineups in Indian cinema. After delivering successful franchises like KGF, Kantara and Salaar, the Bengaluru-based production house is now working on multiple pan-India projects across different languages. Their upcoming slate includes sequels, new franchises and collaborations with some of the biggest stars in the country. One of the most awaited projects is Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam. Director Prashanth Neel recently confirmed that the sequel will begin after he completes Dragon with NTR. KGF: Chapter 3 also remains in the pipeline, though the makers are yet to announce a production schedule as both Prashanth Neel and Yash are busy with their current commitments.
Hombale has also entered into a long-term collaboration with Prabhas. The banner had earlier announced a three-film deal with the actor, making him one of its biggest creative partners for the coming years. Apart from Salaar 2, more projects featuring Prabhas are expected to be announced. The production house has also expanded into Tamil and Hindi cinema. Suriya has officially signed a film with Hombale, directed by TJ Gnanavel, while Hrithik Roshan is also collaborating with the banner on a pan-India project. Prashanth Varma is another director who has joined hands with Hombale for a big-budget mythological film.
Another ambitious venture is the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. The franchise began with Mahavatar Narasimha and will continue with Mahavatar Parshuram in 2027, followed by Mahavatar Raghunandan in 2029 and Mahavatar Dwarkadhish in 2031. The makers have already announced plans to expand the universe with multiple films running through 2037, making it one of the biggest long-term cinematic plans in Indian cinema.
With multiple projects featuring Prabhas, Suriya, Hrithik Roshan and established franchises like KGF and Salaar, Hombale Films has one of the best films lined up in the country for the next few years.
