Akhil Akkineni had to wait for a decade to taste his first ever blockbuster success. Despite backing from Akkineni family and the legacy, the actor failed to live up to the expectations. His recent film Lenin is doing fantastic business all over. The openings and the box-office numbers made it clear that the audience have accepted Akhil and all he needs to deliver is an impressive film. Lenin is racing towards the biggest hit in Akhil’s career. From A to C centres, the film is posting impressive numbers in its first weekend.
Akhil and Nagarjuna are relieved and they are quite emotional during the success celebrations. Coming out from his comfort zone, Akhil was seen in a mass film for the first time. Lenin opened doors for many more such films for the Akkineni actor. With Lenin, Akhil is now happy and he has now staged a hunt to deliver a bigger film after Lenin. The actor has signed his next film and it will be announced soon. The biggest debate now is about the next film of Akhil. He has a film to be produced by Annapurna Studios and the film features Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil in the lead roles. An official announcement on this project is expected soon.
Akhil has zeroed in a couple of scripts and the next big challenge for the actor is that he has to finalize one and announce it. Akhil during the promotions of Lenine promised his fans that there would be no breaks after Lenin and he will continue to work without breaks. A clarity on his next film is expected this month.
