Nagabandham is one film that caught everyone’s attention in the recent times because of the stunning visuals in the trailer. The makers have spent lavishly on the film and the makers also managed to close all the non-theatrical deals. Nagabandham released on Friday and the response has been mixed. The numbers on Saturday are not encouraging and the film did not witness a big jump in the numbers. To control the damage, the makers have chopped off 20 minutes and the updated version is now available in theatres.
But the damage has already been done. The biggest complaint for Nagabandham is the lengthy runtime and the poor writing. The film has been supported by grand VFX work and excellent production values. Even for small roles, some of the top actors of Indian cinema have been locked. Still, the response from the audience has been underwhelming. Nagabandham has to gain strength and remain super strong on Sunday to pin hopes on the big recovery of the film. Abhishek Nama is the director and Virat Karna, Nabha Natesh are the lead actors.
