Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is reportedly joining Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka. The actress is said to be playing a character with negative shades, though the details of her role are being kept under wraps. The makers are yet to officially confirm her presence in the film. Raaka already has a large cast with Allu Arjun in the lead and Deepika Padukone as the primary female lead. Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor have important roles in the film. Aishwarya’s addition now brings another actress into the film.
The film is being directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures. It is a sci-fi action film and is currently being shot in Mumbai. Aishwarya is reportedly expected to join the upcoming schedule. Aishwarya Lekshmi has worked across Malayalam and Tamil cinema and has been choosing different kinds of roles in recent years. The shoot of Raaka is expected to be completed soon and the film releases next year.
