Kannada Superstar Yash has taken reasonable remuneration for Toxic and he holds a lion’s share in the profits. The trailer generated the needed buzz and the expectations are big on the film. Toxic is now released through all the major active big players in distribution in all the languages. The film will be released on an advance basis and the film is not sold for any distributor. In Karnataka, Yash’s Monster Mind Creations is releasing the film. Yash is venturing into distribution in Karnataka with Toxic. He is now holding a major share in the distribution rights of the film.
Dil Raju is releasing the film in the Telugu states. The makers are demanding an advance of Rs 120 crores for the Telugu states and the discussions are going on. Because of the biggest quotes, digital giants like Netflix and Amazon have stepped away from the race of digital rights. Zee Studios is currently in talks. All the deals will be closed before the release. Toxic will recover the investment before the release. Geethu Mohandas is the director and the film has some of the top actresses like Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in important roles. KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations are the producers.
