Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt is busy with several Hindi projects. She played a crucial role in RRR and has been keen to sign more Telugu films. Alia Bhatt replaced Deepika Padukone in the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD and the team is yet to make an official announcement. With Prabhas occupied with other films, the shoot of the film is pushed and an announcement will be made at the right time. The latest speculation is that Alia Bhatt has been roped in to play an important role in NTR’s Dragon.
The talks are in the final stages and the team will make an official announcement soon. If this is true, Alia Bhatt could feature in the most happening Telugu projects. NTR’s Dragon is directed by Prashanth Neel and is made on a massive budget. The shoot resumes this month and Dragon is aimed for a June 2027 release across the globe. Prabhas will complete Fauzi, Spirit before taking up the shoot of Kalki 2898 AD sequel directed by Nag Ashwin.
