Tamil actor Suriya is finally doing a straight Telugu film titled Vishwanath and Sons. Venky Atluri is the director and the teaser has generated the needed buzz around the film. The released first single is decent and the makers announced that the film releases during the Independence Day weekend. Suriya has completed his portions of the shoot by yesterday in the last schedule that took place in Annapurna Studios. The pending patchwork will be completed soon.
Mamita Baiju is the leading lady in this interesting attempt. Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights for a whopping price and Suriya’s Karuppu success is a huge boost for the theatrical business of Vishwanath and Sons. The asking prices are higher and Sithara Entertainments is closing all the business deals. Suriya and Mamita Baiju will participate in a grand set of promotions soon.
