Akshay Kumar’s upcoming comedy entertainer Welcome To The Jungle has cleared the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), but not without a series of changes. Among the most talked-about modifications are reported edits to a few glamour-focused scenes featuring actresses Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez.
According to reports, the CBFC asked the makers to alter or trim certain bikini shots and visual sequences involving the two actresses before granting certification. A Kashmir-related dialogue reference was also reportedly modified as part of the board’s recommendations.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle is the third installment in the popular Welcome franchise and features a massive ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar. The film also stars Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta and Johnny Lever among others.
The franchise is known for its comedy, larger-than-life characters and multi-star cast. With the certification process now complete, the film is gearing up for its theatrical release on June 26.
While the reported edits have attracted attention online, fans remain focused on the film’s comedy-packed storyline and star-studded cast as it heads toward its big-screen debut.
