Nagachaitanya has teamed up with director Karthik Dandu on a first of its kind mythical thriller titled Vrushakarma. The film is currently in production and is slated to release this year.
According to industry buzz, Zee has bought the OTT and satellite rights for a fancy amount which is nearly 50crs.
Trade circles believe the combination of Naga Chaitanya’s newfound box-office momentum after Thandel and Karthik Dandu’s credibility following Virupaksha played a key role in attracting such a premium offer. The glimpse also generated widespread appreciation, further strengthening the film’s market value.
With the non-theatrical business already off to a flying start, all eyes are now on the film’s theatrical release.
Mounted on a grand scale, Vrushakarma is expected to present Naga Chaitanya in a never-seen-before role in a mythical world. The makers are investing heavily in the film’s visuals and production values to deliver a theatrical spectacle.
