Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda along with his wife Rashmika Mandanna visited his hometown Thummanpet village in Achampet Mandal of Telangana
today. He launched an educational program to support merit students who are studying in government schools. The star couple have rewarded the best students with scholarships. A total number of 180 students are selected who excelled in their academics. All the 180 students are from the classes 9th and 10th.
Vijay Deverakonda during his speech announced that he would extend this program to the students across Telangana very soon. Before this, Vijay shared a post along with the list of students who are selected. Both Vijay and Rashmika personally rewarded the students. Crowds gathered in large numbers to witness the glimpse of the star couple. The event was well organized. Vijay Deverakonda’s father is a native of Thummanpet. Vijay and Rashmika arranged a grand wedding reception in the village. On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika are shooting for Ranabaali which is slated for September 11th release.
