There are no major releases during the Friday except a few re-releases in Tollywood. Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaaram which emerged as a major blockbuster continued its show over the second weekend. Maa Inti Bangaaram dominated the second weekend across the Telugu states and it turned out to be the first option for the audience. Maa Inti Bangaaram contributed handsome revenue over the weekend. The film also took advantage of the long weekend and it witnessed packed houses from Friday to Sunday.
All the major re-releases Hanuman (3D), Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu, Raj Tarun’s Cinema Chupista Mava and Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa released over the weekend and none of the films were able to register decent openings in the Telugu states. Ram Charan’s Peddi has been decent and the theatrical run of the film will come to an end by this week. On the whole, it is Samantha’s show over the weekend.
